Is this thing on? Okay. Um, this is Agony Shorthand Radio. Greetings. Hello there, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Jay. I'm the host of the program that is called Agony Shorthand, and this is the sixth edition of said program. You just heard something very, very new from Holt Bodish. It was called Half Sunset, and it is on his new LP that is just now called Gorgeous. Holt is in the Mordecai with his brother and another uh individual. And hopefully Mordecai is still around. If you like that game, you definitely recognize Holt in general kind of recording quality or lack of hard thing and really interesting voice with a great new record. I really do have one all the way through. I am here with you here on Aggie. And I have uh several new things for you like a Getrag album. This is also brand new. They're from Olympia, Washington. And this is new on the post-present medium label. We're gonna hear a track from it. It is called Gary's World, and it sounds like this.

Okay, that was uh Eternal Music Society from the great and proud country of Sweden. That is from their most recent record, which is called simply Eternal Music Society. You can find it on Not Wheeled Records before Eternal Music Society doing that instrumental track. You heard a song that was not instrumental. It was Famous Mammals from Oakland, California, just across the bay from where I'm sitting right at this moment. They did a track called Final Horror, and that was from their debut day in 2021. Five years ago, folks, that was later put on the final uh Great Grey record as was their follow-up on Silver. Um before the famous mammals we heard the only one from the United Kingdom in 1978. The track was called Language Problem, and that was from their debut album before the only one. We heard Gather Samantha doing a Rosenberg Summer from the Come All You Fabulous Record from the late 80s. Uh I think it was 89. I I remember when that came out, and I I remember thinking like I think it came out as a single first, and I was thinking like, oh my god, this guy's voice is going to be really about a lot of people. Um with all the orchestral stuff and the song. And that was one of my favorite bands at the time. I loved that as a man. And that was sort of unfortunately the problem with that as a man of the career. I saw them on that. Green game with all that well, and they were just like a little bit. I know it's a green game. I just feel like it was all like one of the opening for drinking the hardware.
